BartTimmer

After studying Film- and Television Studies at the University of Amsterdam Bart
switched to attend the Dutch Film en Television Academy. Already during his studies
at the Film Academy (Director), he started working as a video assistant to Thed
Lenssen. From moving cables, working as a production assistant and doing video
assist, Bart quickly started to direct commercials. In 1999 he proved to be the fastest
growing talent in CZAR's nursery for young talent CCCP (now Comrad). Bart’s professional growth to leading commercial director went hand in hand with the
development of the most talked-about creative teams of The Netherlands.

Bart's strength in his storytelling is his extreme attention to detail, his timing and his
humor. This is combined with his ability to direct the actors in such a way to produce
a maximized effect of their play. Everything is in service of the storytelling.
A funny story, that strikes with dry humor en often is being recognized as the best that
The Netherlands has to offer.

His impressive collection of Gouden Loeki’s (very important Dutch public prize),
Cannes Lions, Epica’s Eurobests and ADCN (Art Director’s Club Netherlands)
Lamps are silent witnesses of his huge success as a storyteller.
